It is then fully cleaned with soap and water, and the tuning slides are polished. After thorough musical instrument cleaning, the instrument is carefully reassembled, with valves (or rotors) oiled and slides lubricated, ensuring it’s ready for optimal performance, whether it’s a trombone repair or trumpet repair.
